Fenit lighthouse Kayaking tour
Paddle your way around Tralee Bay’s breath-taking scenery with the stunning backdrop of the Slive Mish Mountains on our guided kayaking tours. Beach your kayak on the picturesque Little Samphire Island and take a closer look at the historic Fenit Lighthouse. Learn about the lighthouse’s history, local wildlife, and fauna both in and above the water, and, if you’re lucky, meet some local dolphins while paddling to and from the shore.

Need to bring: swimwear, towels and old runners/booties that will get wet,
we can provide footwear if needed.
NOTE: Wetsuits and buoyancy aids provided and included.

Sunset Kayaking Tour
Looking for a way to experience the beautiful southern sunset along the picturesque landscape of The Slieve Mish Mountains and Tralee Bay? Look no further! Our sunset tour will give you a chance to explore Little Samphire Island and Fenit Lighthouse up close while learning about its history, ecology, and diverse wildlife both above and below the water. Unwind as you paddle along at your own pace immersed in nature, all of this framed by what we hope to be a beautiful sunset.
NOTE: Only available for adults | Max 7 people. Private bookings available on request.

Introduction to sea kayaking
Learn the basic skills to enjoy sea kayaking in a safe and controlled environment on our very stable sit on top Kayaks.
Our Introduction to Sea Kayaking takes place in Fenit, from our center, on the sheltered Tralee Bay.
No prior experience required.
This course is very relaxed and good fun.

Putting Strokes Together by Playing Games.
Equipment provided – warm wet-suit, buoyancy aid, and helmet.
You need to bring – swimsuit, towel and a pair of booties/old runners that will get wet (or we can provide if needed) and a sense of adventure!
Cliff Coast Kayaking Tour
We are so lucky in north Kerry to have a mix of
landscapes from the sheltered Tralee Bay to
North Kerry’s wonderful beaches and the cliff
coasts of Kerry Head. Our Cliff Coast Guided Tour
takes in the breath-taking sea arches caves, small
islands, and the wonderful geological features.
This is the Real Wild Atlantic Way. Local fishermen
still fish in currachs along the coast here.
